CDK Global in Hoffman Estates buys Progressus Media

CDK Global, an enabler of end-to-end automotive commerce, said it has purchased Progressus Media, a specialty provider of mobile advertising solutions for dealerships, agencies and automotive marketing companies.

The acquisition adds complementary technology and capabilities to the Hoffman Estates-based CDK Advertising business, for which the company has recently appointed Jen Cole vice president and general manager. Progressus' team, technology and products will accelerate growth in social media channels, as the company's social suite ad tech is integrated into the CDK automotive marketing solution set.

The Progressus Media team will retain their current office location in downtown Chicago, and the team will focus on fully integrating into the CDK Advertising business over the next several weeks.
