Celebrity photographer coming to Art Van Furniture
Nigel Barker, an internationally renowned celebrity fashion photographer who turned his eye for style toward furniture design last year, will greet guests and introduce his new NB2 Collection at Art Van Furniture in Kildeer and Downers Grove on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Barker will take selfies with fans between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the Kildeer store, 20393 N. Rand Road, and between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in Downers Grove, 1021 Butterfield Road. Fans can share their photos on social media, using the hashtag #sofaselfie #artvan, for a chance to win a $500 Art Van gift card. He will discuss his inspiration for his NB2 Collection, an expression of his cosmopolitan New York City lifestyle. This modern collection is highlighted by sleek silhouettes and classic shapes pairing minimalist style with maximum comfort.

The NB2 Collection for living room, dining room and bedroom features a deep seating sofa, genuine leather accent chairs, velvet daybed, occasional tables with cafe noir wood, and signature canopy bed with antique brass and upholstered headboard. Barker's NB1 Collection debuted in September 2016, paying homage to his international travels. Both lines are available exclusively at Art Van Furniture. Barker is an English reality TV show personality, fashion photographer, author, spokesperson, filmmaker and former model.
