Marcus Lemonis opens fashion store in Chicago's Gold Coast

Marcus, billed as a new shopping and retail experience, is opening at 110 E. Delaware Place in Chicago's Gold Coast. The store features a collection of fashion brands and retailers from across the U.S., according to a release from The Marcus Lemonis Fashion Group.

Lemonis, who is also CEO of Lincolnshire-based recreational vehicle retailer Camping World Holdings and the star of CNBC's reality series "The Profit," has invested in a number of fashion retail stores in the Chicago metropolitan area, including Denim & Soul in Lake Forest and Winnetka and a new location soon in Naperville; Runway, formerly in Deerfield; Union73 in Chicago, and Final Sale in Highland Park.

"As a way to say thank you for supporting my retail businesses over the past few years, I wanted to give back with a new women's shopping experience like no other," Lemonis said. "Based on the feedback and interest of our shoppers, I've filled the store with best-sellers they already love, while also introducing new brands and statement pieces they won't be able to live without.

"Our store is here to help women feel their best in quality fashion from around the world and take charge of their lives," he added.

It's the first time Lemonis has used his own name on one of his businesses.

In addition to the Gold Coast store, Marcus plans to open locations in Hinsdale, Aspen, Colo. and New York City within the next six months.

A grand opening party for the Gold Coast location is being planned.
