Make Pace buses free

All vehicles running on gasoline are producing too many harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and have an effect on the air quality in our county. In order to decrease the number of cars on the road, public buses, namely the Pace Bus system, should be made free in order to encourage citizens to use public transport. A free public bus system would save money for every single person who stopped driving themselves on gas cost, as well as maintenance cost on their vehicles. If the fare were free, there would be no wasted time sitting idle at stops for extended periods of time waiting for payment and burning gas, therefore saving money for the bus system itself. A free means of transportation would also give more opportunity to those who do not have a vehicle or are handicapped, and give those people ability to find jobs and bring more money into the economy as well as lessen unemployment.
