Glenbard South, Neuqua Valley, Waubonsie Valley win

Glenbard South 15, Fenton 4:

Billy Powers, Robbie McGimpsey and Kyle Zygadto combined for 10 hits, with McGimpsey and Zygadto adding 7 RBI for the Raiders (2-5, 2-0) in the six-inning Metro Suburban victory. Winning pitcher Christian Dupuis and Mike Paprota combined on the mound.

Neuqua Valley 11, Naperville Central 0:

James Kulak struck out 10 and allowed 3 hits as the Wildcats (9-0, 4-0) won the DuPage Valley game in 6 innings. Jack Rigoni and Evan Ranneklev both went 2-for-4 with a home run and 2 RBI.

Waubonsie Valley 11, Glenbard North 0:

Will Isdell pitched a 5-inning 1-hitter for the Warriors (7-2, 3-1) in the DuPage Valley win. Chris Ralph went 3-for-3 with 4 RBI and Connor Yukna drove in 3 runs.

Lake Park 5-8, WW South 4-5:

Jarod Pankau's solo homer in the bottom of the eighth won a continued game from Monday, and then the Lancers (5-3, 3-2) claimed the regularly scheduled DuPage Valley game behind 3 hits by Zach Aehlert and Sean Cummins. Jay Palmer and Casey Berner were the winning pitchers. Griffen Pschigoda had 4 hits, scored 4 runs and had 3 RBI for the Tigers (4-7, 1-4) in the two games.

Metea Valley 13, Naperville North 6:

Three runs in the sixth inning and 5 runs in the seventh broke a 5-5 tie for the Mustangs (3-5, 1-3) in their DuPage Valley win. Matt Vass launched a 3-run homer while Ashton Creal, Jake Kmiecik and Danny Zorn combined for 7 hits and 5 RBI. Mitch Reyes gutted out 5 innings for the win. Jack Ginzkey and Matt Schwartz had 2 hits for Naperville North (1-7, 1-1).

Willowbrook 8, Leyden 7:

The Warriors (8-1, 1-0) held on for the West Suburban Gold win after building an 8-0 lead through four innings. Ben Espinoza and Jon Kelso had 3 hits and an RBI. Winning pitcher Alec Michaelson struck out nine and allowed no earned runs in 4 innings.

Glenbard East 9, Addison Trail 6:

The Rams (7-5) scored 5 runs in the second and 4 runs in the fourth to win the nonconference game. Taylor Westerhoff had 2 hits and 3 RBI while Billy Davis-Mills went 3-for-4. Austin Grote notched the win and Jack Crackel the save. A.J. Parnell went 3-for-4 and Simon Marinelli drove in 2 runs for Addison Trail (2-5).

IC Catholic 2, Wheaton Academy 1:

After Wheaton Academy (2-6, 1-3) scored its run in the top of the first, the Knights (6-8, 2-2) scored both their runs in the bottom of the inning. Austin Reed was the complete-game winning pitcher, striking out seven and scattering 6 hits. Paul Morris III and John Hoffman had 2 hits apiece, and C.J. West and Hoffman drove in the Knights' runs. Payton Sowa and Max Martin had 2 hits for the Warriors.

Downers South 3, Morton 0:

Anthony Stellato, Keegan Garland and Michael Hall had 2 hits for the Mustangs (7-4, 2-0) in the West Suburban Gold win. Winning pitcher Cameron Crowley struck out seven and walked none in 6 innings.
