Lottery seeks winner with $7.25 million ticket sold in Addison

A customer at an Addison gasoline station bought a Quick Pick Lotto ticket that won $7.25 million in Thursday's drawing, the Illinois Lottery says.

The Shell station at 539 W. Army Trail Road sold a ticket that matched all six numbers - 07-22-23-24-26-49 - selected in the drawing. The station owner will receive a $72,500 bonus worth 1 percent of the total prize amount.

Lottery spokesman Jason Schaumburg said the winning ticketholder has not yet come forward, so Quick Pick Lotto players who shop at the Addison Shell are encouraged to check their tickets.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to visit a Lottery Prize Center to claim their money. Prize Centers are in Des Plaines, Chicago, Fairview Heights, Rockford and Springfield.

The winning ticket sold in Addison is among 84,000 Lotto tickets that captured prizes in Thursday's drawing, Lottery officials said. Other winners can claim amounts from $1 to $2,261.51.
