Chicago Blackhawks' Panarin cashes in on bonus

As it turns out, Artemi Panarin's third-period goal against Los Angeles on Saturday was an awfully lucrative one for the 25-year-old Russian winger.

Panarin, who had 31 goals and 74 points for the Blackhawks this season, ended up tied for 10th in points among forwards, meaning he will cash in on a $1.725 million bonus. Had Panarin not scored, he would have finished in 11th, 1 point behind Winnipeg's Blake Wheeler.

Panarin finished with 7 goals and 1 assist in the last seven games.
