Girls soccer: Round Lake, Wauconda win with shutouts

Round Lake 4, North Chicago 0: At the Round Lake tournament, Round Lake got the shutout.

Dana Devera led the Panthers with 2 goals.

Wauconda 5, Niles North 0: Kayla Wisniewski had 2 goals for Wauconda, which is now 3-0-1 on the season.

"We took a pretty good wind advantage in the first half and applied a lot of attacking pressure," Wauconda coach Beau Shogren said.

Antioch 2, Rockford Guilford 1: Antioch was up 2-0 by halftime.

Megan Helgesen and Ella Roberts each scored goals and Roberts assisted on Helgesen's goal.

"We put a lot of pressure on Guilford from the start and manufactured several corners early," Antioch coach Matt Bohmann said.

Antioch is 4-1-1 and unbeaten in its last four games.

Lake Zurich 3, Prairie Ridge 2 (PKs): The Bears got all the scoring from Kristin Brousseau, and Madison Hart made 9 saves as Lake Zurich improved to 4-2.
