Will Isdell's RBI single in the bottom of the eighth drove in Luke Gregorio with the game-winning run for the Warriors (3-1). Ryan Gorkis picked up the win by pitching a scoreless eighth inning in relief of Alex Schram, who went 7 innings.

Willowbrook 11, West Chicago 1:

A 4-run third inning and a 5-run fourth broke open the game for the Warriors (5-0). Ben Espinoza, Alec Michaelson and John Taylor all had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Ryan Mintz pitched all 5 innings to earn the win.

IC Catholic 6, Marysville, Ohio 2:

Winning pitcher Austin Reed, Brendan Russ and Christopher West had 2 hits for the Knights (3-5). Joey Salvi had a hit and 2 RBI.

Downers South 6, West Linn, Ore. 4:

The Mustangs (4-2) rallied from a 4-3 deficit, scoring twice in the sixth and adding an insurance run in the seventh. Nick Stacey went 2-for-5 with a homer and 2 RBI while Anthony Stellato went 4-for-4. Mikey Palenik was the winning pitcher.

Timothy Christian 8, Beachwood, Ohio 2:

Nick Huisman, who drove in 2 runs, Josh Anderson, Noah Marrera and Jonny Strube had 2 hits apiece as the Trojans (3-0) won again in South Carolina.

Ballard, Ky. 5, Glenbard West 4:

After scoring all their runs in the top of the first inning, the Hilltoppers (2-3) surrendered the lead when Ballard scored twice in the sixth. Six players had a hit for Glenbard West. Adrian Del Valle drove in 2 runs.

West Aurora 3, Metea Valley 2:

West Aurora scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to pull out the victory. Matt Vass, who struck out eight in 6 innings while getting a no-decision, and Danny Zorn each had 2 hits.
