Barrington police seek 2 in credit card theft

Barrington police are seeking two thieves they say used a stolen credit card to buy food and gas in the area.

Police shared surveillance photos of the suspects on social media Tuesday and asked for anyone with information to come forward.

The pair are accused of using a stolen card belonging to a Barrington resident at one of the city's gas stations and later at Big Ange's Restaurant in Arlington Heights, officials said.

The thieves are believed to be driving a dark-colored Porschse Cayenne.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact detectives at (847) 304-3300.
