Capannari's in Mount Prospect opening Saturday
In a sign of spring, Capannari Ice Cream will be opening for its 17th season at noon Saturday, March 18, at 10 S. Pine Street in Mount Prospect.
Opening day flavors include Irish cream, Irish coffee, Guinness, Girl Scout cookie, cardamom orange crunch and lemongrass coconut.
Capannari's will continue to host family events beginning with the Easter egg hunt noon Sunday, April 9, with more than 5,000 eggs for children ages 2 to 7. For more details on the season's events, visit www.capannaris.com.
