Prospect Heights couple celebrate 100th and 99th birthdays
Mayor Nicholas Helmer attended St. Alphonsus Parish's birthday celebration for a very special couple, Antoinette and James Anderson, who have been married for 75 years.
With friends and family in attendance, Mayor Helmer presented both Antoinette and James with Keys to the City and issued a proclamation naming March 3, 2017, as "James Anderson Day" in honor of his 100th birthday.
The birthday celebration was doubly special, as Antoinette is also celebrating being 99 years old.
