Giangreco didn't deserve his suspension
I support Mark Giangreco's right to free speech. I do not support ABC 7's suspension of Mark Giangreco's because of his political tweet.
One has to wonder if ABC's decades long lead in viewership of the news at 10 p.m. will now suffer like Jimmy Fallon's Tonight show, which also led in the number of viewers for many years. Fallon's perceived support of Donald Trump has seriously impacted his position in the ratings.
Mark Giangreco deserves our support. He is most knowledgeable across the wide spectrum of sports and works hard to present an entertaining broadcast showing the good, the bad and the irreverent. I will miss him on the news and for the time being I will not watch ABC 7's news.
