East Dundee kicks off St. Patrick's Day fun

Thousands of people lined Water Street and Barrington Avenue in East Dundee on Saturday to watch the Thom McNamee Memorial St. Patrick's Day Parade, run a Kilted 5K race, and watch Big Wheel races, sponsored by Emmett's Brewing Co. in West Dundee. The village will keep the Irish going with St. Patrick's Day fireworks over the Fox River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
