I know how to keep the city in the black plus the importance of customer "resident" service.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.The sales tax and property tax is just right. However, we need to encourage more hotels, restaurants, and attract other new businesses to increase the tax base.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?Fire District is a separate taxing body. Our CALEA certified police department is excellent.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?Open communications on sharing city services and personal with other local communities. Supporting a temporary tax reduction for our local businesses that suffered major reductions in revenue due to a two year reconstruction of Irving Park Rd.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Being a 39 year resident of Wood Dale I would like to see a more business and resident friendly environment. As an example streamline applications, cut timelines, and overall live up to our city motto "Working Together to Make Life Better."Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Mayor of Rosemont who has made the city a destination entertainment location inspires me.What is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?Accountability, my mom and dad always taught us to be accountable for our actions.If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I am happy with the success i have achieved in life, however spending more time with family instead of working so much.What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?Lake Park Work Program helped me understand and appreciate how business works.If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?I don't have any children however, I would tell them to always have accountability for their actions and strive to reach their dreams.
