Streamwood Woman's Club to host 11th Floral Design Showcase

The Streamwood Woman's Club, celebrating 50 years of community service, is hosting its 11th annual Floral Design Showcase Monday, March 20, in the auditorium at Streamwood High School, 701 Schaumburg Road, Streamwood.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets cost $12 per person; groups of 10 or more are $10 per person. Tickets are available at the door or in advance by contacting Vida Luzadder at (708) 912-6229. Each attendee will receive an ad book created by selling ad space to local businesses and residents.

The event includes floral designs created by Town & Country Gardens, Kaleidoscope of Floral Designs and Deptula Florist. Each piece will be raffled off to attendees.

The entry ticket is the raffle ticket, however, additional raffle tickets may be purchased at $1 per ticket. Other raffles at the event include gift baskets, split the pot and maid for a day.

All proceeds will go to support local community organizations such as the Streamwood Police DARE program, Hanover Township Food Pantry, Hanover Township Open Gym Program, WINGS and the Streamwood High School Drama Department.
