Palatine man pleads guilty to Arlington Heights theft

A Palatine man admitted Thursday to stealing more than $500 from the cash register at an Arlington Heights pizzeria.
In exchange for pleading guilty to theft, Jonathan Cabrera, 25, was sentenced to one year in prison. He received credit for 50 days in custody, court records show.
Cabrera went to Mug's Pizza on the 800 block of Rand Road to pick up an order Dec. 29 and took the money at that time, said prosecutors.
