Police investigate armed robbery at Waukegan Papa John's
Police are seeking information about an armed robbery reported Monday at a Waukegan Papa John's Pizza.
Officers responded about 10:30 p.m. Monday to the pizzeria on the 1300 block of North Green Bay Road, according to a news release.
A restaurant employee told police that a man entered the business, displayed a silver handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a black, thin man about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark hoodie with a zipper, a black hat, a black winter mask covering the lower portion of his face, dark jeans, white athletic shoes and white gloves. The suspect was last seen fleeing the business on foot.
