Anti-Trump crowd doesn't care for security

President Trump recently signed executive orders affecting border security. These measures would (1) stem the flow of illegals into the country; and (2) temporarily limit entry of travelers, from seven of the 50 Muslim-majority countries until new extreme vetting procedures could be put in place to screen out likely terrorists.

The action mirrors promises he made during his election campaign. The necessarily rapid implementation of the orders inconvenienced 300 to 400 travelers from the seven countries seeking entry to the U.S.; and they scared many from other countries who have illegally breached our borders.

Wrongly, I assumed citizens would be grateful to President Trump who, unlike his feckless predecessor, fulfills his promises, and that they would appreciate that action was finally being taken to enhance the nation's security via more effective border control measures.

Instead, within minutes after the orders were executed and traveler entries were delayed, hordes of paid demonstrators were sent out from the barracks of several Democrat-funded Protest Campsites scattered about our country. With professionally-prepared, derogatory signs in hand, these folks yelled their objections to the President's actions at airports, court houses, Trump hotels, and elsewhere. Their "take" on the president's actions is that they are unfair, racially-prejudiced, anti-Muslim, cruel, anti-American, illegal, fascist, and on and on. Soon, grandstanding Democrat politicians emulated the behavior of the protesters. Almost concurrently, lawsuits aimed at squelching the orders were filed. Wow.

Conclusions: (1) The unhinged anti-Trump crowd really has no concerns about terrorists penetrating our borders to blow up people and/or stuff, and (2) they are good with an unending flow of illegals (including many convicted criminals and/or drug or arms smugglers) coming into our country to take jobs from our citizens, change our culture, and sap the nation's financial resources.

A better position: Talented, pro-American, self-sufficient, legal immigrants are welcome. Others, not!
