Dribble with Dad at Meineke Recreation Center

Schaumburg Park District is making March Madness even more memorable with the Father and Son: Sports of All Sorts Event, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank.

Father and Son: Sports of All Sorts Event is set for 11 a.m. to noon, March 11, at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way. Children ages 4 to 9 are invited to join their dads in friendly sports competitions. Each participant will enjoy a snack, make a craft and go home with a fun sports gift to remember the day.

"This is such a fun opportunity for fathers and sons to participate in an activity together," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor. "We're going to play some basketball, floor hockey, football, baseball and soccer. Everyone wins at this event."

Cost is $10 per child for residents and $12 per child for non-residents. Registration is required by March 10.
