Rolling Meadows man charged with sexually assaulting teen girl

A 33-year-old Rolling Meadows man was ordered held on $750,000 bail Tuesday on charges he sexually assaulted a teenage girl last weekend.
Adam Chango is charged with criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison. If Chango posts bail, Cook County Judge Joseph Cataldo ordered him to have no contact with the girl and no contact with anyone under age 18.
Prosecutors say Chango assaulted the girl several times between Feb. 2 and Feb. 4.
The girl, who wrote about the assault in her eDiary, or internet journal, told her mother about the assault on Saturday, after which her mother called police.
Chango, who received misdemeanor probation in Maryland for possession of cannabis, next appears in court March 2.
