Canadiens' Galchenyuk, Desharnais out with knee injuries

MONTREAL (AP) - Montreal Canadiens forwards Alex Galchenyuk and David Desharnais are expected to be sidelined 6-8 weeks because of knee injuries.

Galchenyuk leads the team in scoring with 23 points on nine goals and 14 assists. He was hurt Sunday at Los Angeles.

Desharnais has three goals and six assists. He was injured at St. Louis on Tuesday night.

The Canadiens recalled forward Sven Andrighetto from the St. John's of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.
