Where to see Santa along Randall Road

If you still need to get your Christmas list to the man in red, there will be plenty of chances to spot Santa at businesses up and down the Randall Road corridor in the next couple of weeks.

Santa Claus himself will make an appearance at the Geneva Commons mall along the Randall Road corridor over the next two weekends.

You can spot him around the mall Sunday, Dec. 11 and 18.

On those days from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., he will be strolling around spreading good cheer. For every child he meets during his tour of the mall, he will have holiday treats.

He will take a short break after his stroll, and then be ready to greet boys and girls and listen to or receive their lists.

From 2 to 5 p.m. on those days, he will head inside Santa's holiday station, which is located near the Learning Express Toys store.

Bring your camera, too, because Santa will be ready for pictures with his visitors.

Head North:

If you're traveling a little north on the Randall Road corridor, you also can see and visit with the Jolly Old Elf at the Algonquin Commons mall.

In Algonquin, Santa will be aboard the Santa Express trolley the next two weekends. The free trolley, which makes its way through the mall helping weary shoppers rest their feet, also is home to Santa.

It will run from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 10 and 17, and Sundays, Dec. 11 and 18.

Santa has a prime seat on the trolley for visiting with little boys and girls who wish to give him their lists and tell him all of their Christmas desires.

As the trolley makes its way around the mall, Santa often exits the vehicle and visits and takes pictures with boys and girls nearby wishing to see him in person.

If you're looking out for Santa at Algonquin Commons, you may also want to try to spot one of his elves.

Gabby the Giving Elf will be giving out gift cards to shoppers this weekend and next.

More shopping relief:

While Algonquin Commons has the free Santa trolley to help save your feet from walking along the pavement as you are shopping, Geneva Commons has free carriage rides for tired shoppers.

The mall will be offering the horse-drawn carriage rides from one end to the other Sunday, Dec. 11. It's a great way to rest, and also to get into the holiday spirit.

You can hop on board for free any time from 1 to 4 p.m. This will be the last weekend for the carriage rides at Geneva Commons.
