Rolling Meadows welcomes holiday season

Rolling Meadows officials ushered in the holiday season Thursday with some help from Santa Claus at the ceremonial lighting of the city's official tree outside the McDonald's on Kirchoff Road.

The tree-lighting ceremony was followed by a free spaghetti dinner hosted by the city's fire department, and then a free performance of the "It's a Wonderful Life" Radio Show at Trinity Lutheran Church.
