Lake Zurich traffic enforcement

Lake Zurich police Friday announced results from a Thanksgiving Day holiday traffic enforcement crackdown. Police conducted the added enforcement from Nov. 14 to 28. The effort was meant to reduce roadway fatalities by cracking down on unbuckled motorists and impaired drivers. During the mobilization, Lake Zurich police issued 31 seat belt citations and made 13 driving under the influence arrests. They also made three arrests for suspended or revoked licenses and issued 18 citations for mobile device use.
