Palatine Park District to show 'It's a Wonderful Life'

Palatine Park District will host a screening of the holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life" on Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center.

The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. and be preceded by a raffle to raise funds for the Susannah's Gift Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $2 and available in advance, as well as at the door. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for open seating and raffle ticket sales.

Tickets are available through the Cutting Hall Box Office and can be purchased in person at the performing arts center, by phone at (847) 202-5222, or online at cuttinghall.org.

Cutting Hall is at 150 E. Wood St., Palatine.

The Susannah's Gift Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Susannah Kist, a longtime Palatine Park District theater and music teacher who lost her battle with cancer in 2009.
