Not what was paid for
For the last year, we have been inundated with political ads. The last month before the election, almost every ad was political. Finally the election was over and as usual, some people were happy and some people were not. But this happens every election. What is a person to do?
I know there is a play that has won many awards. After looking high and low, maybe you find two tickets at an astonishing price. So you bite the bullet and buy the tickets. The play was great. But after the play was over, here comes a political speech of sorts. The cast decides to express their opinion.
Wait a minute. I did not see this in the playbill. After paying good money to see a good play, why should I be subjected to this? If you wanted to express your opinion, say it in an interview or take an ad out, not on my dollar.
