South Elgin celebrates An Almost Winter Day

The weather cooperated Saturday as the South Elgin parks and recreation department held its 15th An Almost Winter Day at SEBA Park.

The event featured a petting zoo, horse-drawn trolley rides, a children's cookie decorating station and holiday activity area, coffee bar station, s'more extravaganza, chicken noodle soup, bonfire, concessions and the arrival of Santa from the North Pole on one of South Elgin's fire engines.
