Artis Senior Living Breaks Ground on Second Memory Care Community in Illinois

Artis Senior Living, LLC recently broke ground on its second memory care community in Illinois for seniors affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. The new community, Artis Senior Living of Bartlett, will be located at 1035 S. Route 59.

The single-story, 32,000 square foot community will front IL-59, just one mile south of Cook County and three miles east of Kane County.

Influenced and refined by over 20 years of operational experience, the new residence was thoughtfully designed to enhance residents' cognition and quality of life by creating a home environment that is both nurturing and comfortable. The design features include smaller-scale spaces, residential finishes, and the use of themes for wayfinding and location recognition.

Artis is currently constructing a residence in Elmhurst,Ill. and also has communities in operation or under construction in Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The company is anticipating a grand opening for Artis Senior Living of Bartlett in the first quarter of 2018.

The project was designed by LK Architecture of Wichita, Kan. and will be constructed by Carlson construction of Joliet, Ill.
