Lake County transportation officials plan public meeting
Lake County Division of Transportation officials plan a public information meeting Wednesday, Nov. 30, regarding proposed work on Deerfield Road near Buffalo Grove and Riverwoods. Officials said the session will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aptakisic Junior High School, 1231 Weiland Road in Buffalo Grove. The Deerfield Road improvements would be from Milwaukee Avenue east to Saunders/Riverwoods Road. Officials said the purpose of the meeting is to introduce the project and inform residents and others about the planning process, schedule and public involvement opportunities. Those who attend will have a chance to provide feedback and ask questions of the project study team.
