Large electronics recycling ends for the season in Hoffman Estates Nov. 21

The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County's (SWANCC) large Electronics Recycling Drop-off Program in Hoffman Estates will end for the season on Monday, Nov. 21.

The free program is open to all SWANCC-member communities. Simply drop off electronic items at Hoffman Estates Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road on Monday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon, only.

After Nov. 21, larger electronics recycling will be available on Saturdays at the Glenview Transfer Station, 1151 N. River Road in Des Plaines, between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Also, small electronics such as cellphones, laptops and cameras, can always be recycled in the village hall lobby during normal business hours through Recycling Avenue.
