Turn things around

Donald Trump has been a businessman, not a politician, who has used the laws of our country (which he had nothing to do with enacting) to run his businesses. Now that he has entered the political arena, I would like to give him the opportunity to turn things around in America.

I do think he is capable of doing so and that as president he will eliminate some of the unfair loopholes that our politicians created that businessman Trump and many others have legally used.

I believe it is unfair to blame him or anyone else for improving or expanding their businesses as long as they obeyed the law. I hope his love of country supersedes his love of personal wealth and I think he respects his country, family and self too much to do anything that would bring shame on any one of them.

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has been a politician for over 30 years and should know exactly what she can and cannot do or say. Yet she has continually made some very poor decisions (emails, charitable donations to the Clinton Foundation while in public office) and untrue statements (Benghazi) and doesn't seem to think she needs to apologize to the American public when she does so.

She lacks humility and presents an image of being above the rules. If she were to become president I feel we'll just have a continuation of the liberal government we've had for the last eight years that has run our country into the ground financially and has lost the respect of many foreign leaders.

I really think it's time for a change.
