Artwork by Joan Heath Fortner at Frisbie Senior Center
During the month of November, Joan Heath Fortner will be displaying her watercolor and acrylic artwork at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Hwy, in Des Plaines. Her subject matter includes portraits, landscapes, still life and graphic design. An artist all of her life, Joan studied at the New York Fashion Academy and the Chicago Art Institute and is a current member and past president of the Des Plaines Art Guild.
The Frisbie Senior Center is open the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 8:30 am-8:00 pm; every Thursday from 8:30 am-8:00 pm; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 8:30 am-4:00 pm.
