U.S. military veterans have a unique perspective on public service and an unparalleled set of leadership skills gained in the service of their country.
As a Navy Aviation Radioman First Class in World War II, I support my fellow veterans for public office.
In this year's state senate elections, the choice is clear. I will be voting for Army veteran Tom Cullerton, who has been a tenacious advocate for good government in his community, rooting out government inefficiencies that impact veterans and civilians alike.
