Enjoy a cool season of winter fun with the Schaumburg Park District

A winter wonderland of programs, classes and events is waiting to warm your spirits at the Schaumburg Park District.

Beginning Oct. 19, the District's Winter 2016-17 Program Guide will be delivered to mailboxes. Guides will be available at District facilities Oct. 24.

The Guide includes engaging classes and programs in athletics, cultural arts, early childhood, fitness and senior activities.

Also featured is information on winter and holiday-themed special events, including the Chilly Chili 5K Race and The North Pole Holiday Spectacular Dec. 3; Christmas in the Valley, Dec. 3 and 4; Santa's Flight to Schaumburg, Dec. 4; Brunch with the Grinch, Dec. 10 and Itsy Bitsy New Year's Eve Countdown Dec. 31.

The Guide also includes a selection of Winter Break Camps to keep children active.

Resident registration begins at 7 a.m., Nov. 7. Non-resident registration begins at 7 a.m., Nov. 21.
