Mount Prospect Oktoberfest - October 7 & 8
Join the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association for their annual Fall Fest and Oktoberfest on Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8. Both days of the event will be held at the intersection of Emerson Street and Busse Avenue in Downtown Mount Prospect.
The Oktoberfest event will kick off on Friday evening, October 7 from 4:00 - 11:00 p.m. Live entertainment (in the heated tent) will get the party going while you enjoy your favorite traditional German food and beverages. Phenix German Band will perform traditional German tunes as well as your favorite covers.
This year's featured beers include Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest and local craft beer by Revolution Brewery. Mrs. P and Me and Central Continental Bakery will be serving authentic German food along with Completely Nuts.
On Saturday, October 8, the day begins with the Fall Festival, one of the best FREE fall family events in the suburbs. Fall Festival activities and entertainment will run from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. The fun will include hay rides, pony rides, bounce houses, pumpkin decorating, crafts and balloons, AND the FAMOUS never-ending trick-or-treat candy line!
Immediately following the Fall Festival, stick around for the party to kick into high gear with another night of Oktoberfest, from 4:00 - 11:00 p.m. Saturday evening, Phenix German Band returns, performing under the heated tent. It will be guaranteed Gemutlichkeit (Good Times) for all!
Parking for the event is available in the Village Hall Parking Garage located at 50 S. Emerson Street and plenty of additional parking is located throughout downtown Mount Prospect. The Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association (MPDMA) is a non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer Board that strives to spread awareness of all that downtown Mount Prospect has to offer.
