Picnic celebrates new temple parking lot

Beth Tikvah Congregation in Hoffman Estates recently celebrated the completion of its parking lot renewal project with an official ribbon cutting ceremony Aug. 21.

Hoffman Estates Mayor William McLeod and a few village trustees attended the event, as well as state Rep. Michelle Mussman and Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce President Tricia O'Brien.

The festivities took place during the temple's annual picnic.

Rabbi Taron Tachman - joined by Cantorial Leader Ilana axel, temple President Ilene Kettring and Vice President of Buildings & Grounds Bruce Cohen - spoke about the blessing of this long-awaited new parking lot.
