State fair has become politicized

Folks, I'd like to know how and when this idiocy started. That is, turning the Illinois State Fair into two days of political hot air, one for the Democrats and one for the Republicans. Therein, taking away from what the fair is supposed to be about. The fair is to be about farming, agriculture, kids, rides, too much food on a stick and not political shtick. How can we get this to end? Wait, I have a solution. Do like me and simply boycott the Illinois Fair and go only an hour and half away and attend next year's Wisconsin State Fair. The heck with Springfield.
