Common sense would ease airport noise

Note to the city of Chicago and the FAA: The runway rotation test would work a lot better if the departing planes did not constantly bank over the same homes every night no matter which runway they use.

Will the traffic controllers please direct them to bank over different areas throughout the night? By the same token, why must every 747 or 777 departing toward the west at about 1:30 p.m. each and every day bank over the Alexian Brothers Hospital and the adjacent homes?

From time to time, can't these planes be directed farther to the west before banking in order to better distribute the noise/vibration?

Is it any wonder that the city and FAA need to be taken to court to get them to implement plans that most people would consider common sense? Think people think.
