PGA, Dick's Sporting Goods Open announce 3-year renewal

ENDICOTT, N.Y. (AP) - The PGA and Dick's Sporting Goods have agreed to a three-year title sponsorship renewal of the Champions Tour event at En-Joie Golf Club.

The company was founded in 1948 in nearby Binghamton, New York, and first signed as the title sponsor in 2007. Since then, the tournament has helped raise more than $7 million for Broome County Community Charities.

As part of the renewal, the PGA Tour will support the company's Sports Matter campaign. The initiative began in 2014 and raises funds and awareness for youth sports.

The Dick's Foundation has donated $25,000 to the West Virginia Secondary Schools Athletic Commission to assist in the recovery from the recent floods.
