Hockey benefit for MS

Glacier Ice Arena in Vernon Hills will host a benefit called Puck MS to raise money for multiple sclerosis on Friday, July 8, at its facility, 670 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. A donation of $25 for adults and $10 for those under 21 includes an open bar of beer and wine, live music, snacks and raffles. Kids under 10 and hockey players are free. A Squirt vs PeeWee hockey game is set for 5:10 p.m. following by Bantam vs Adult game at 6:30 p.m. Fee is $65 including jersey and food. Live music by hockey dads "The Purple Drapes" follows at 8 p.m. All proceeds from Puck MS will go to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
