Celebrate Fox Lake parade headlines Saturday's fest

Paradegoers lined Grand Avenue in Fox Lake Saturday to watch the Celebrate Fox Lake parade.

Red, white and blue were the colors of the day with participants holding to a patriotic theme for the Independence Day parade sponsored by the Fox Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Following the parade, the Village of Fox Lake Parks and Recreation Department hosted various festivities at Lakefront Park well into the evening. Live entertainment, games, craft show, beer tent and family-fun activities highlighted the annual fest.

Fireworks at Lakefront Park topped off the evening.
