Gurnee Family Olympics coming July 20
The Gurnee Park District will host Family Olympics from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Hunt Club Park Aquatic Center, 900 North Hunt Club Road.
Family Olympics, formerly known as the Toddler Olympics, is an opportunity for families with children ages 3 and up to compete in a variety of Olympic events and themed activities, including games, arts and crafts, and open swim after the event.
The fee for residents is $8 per person and $10 for nonresidents. That includes activities and dinner for all registered participants. Registration is required and can be completed online at gurneeparkdistrict.com, at Hunt Club Park or Viking Park, 4374 Old Grand Ave. Call (847) 623-7788 for more information.
