Sei Young Kim became the fifth multiple winner on the LPGA Tour this year. Eleven players have won the 17 events to date. ... Lewis, Brittany Lang, and Brittany Lincicome are among nine players who have competed every year since the tournament began in 2007. ... Maria Fassi is playing on a sponsor exemption awarded to an Arkansas player. ... Brooke Henderson and Lydia Ko, who have won both majors this year and are No. 1 and No. 2 in the world, are in the field. ... Notes: Bernhard Langer's victory in the Senior Players Championship made him the first PGA Tour Champions player to win multiple majors in three seasons - 2010, 2014 and 2016. The others to achieve that were Gary Player (1987-88) and Jack Nicklaus (1990-91). ... Steve Stricker helped to launch the American Family Insurance Championship and is the tournament host, even though he isn't eligible to play. He doesn't turn 50 until February. ... Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre and offensive lineman Mark Tauscher will partner with Stricker and two-time U.S. Open champion Andy North in a nine-hole celebrity scramble event during the second round. It will start after the leaders make the turn. ... Bernhard Langer leads the tour with a 68.6 scoring average, which is 1. 57 strokes ahead of Jeff Maggert.
