OAKMONT, Pa. (AP) - A brief look at the final round of the U.S. Open Suynday at Oakmont Country Club:

WINNER: Dustin Johnson, who shot 69 - including a one-shot penalty for a moving ball on the fifth green - for a 4-under 276 total.

RUNNERS-UP - Jim Furyk (who shot 66), Scott Piercy (69) and Shane Lowry (76) all finished at 1-under 279.

SHOT OF THE DAY: Johnson's approach from 192 yards into the 18th green came to a stop 5 feet from the pin.

KEY STAT: Only four players finished under par. Sergio Garcia and Branden Grace were at even-par 280.

NOTEWORTHY: Johnson, arguably the most powerful player in the game, averaged 23 yards longer off the tee than the field.

QUOTEWORTHY: " I've knocked on the door a bunch of times. To finally get that major win, it's huge. It gets me a lot more confidence going into every major to know that I can win." - Dustin Johnson.

PURSE: The winner's share was $1.8 million.
