Man found stabbed at Wheaton apartment complex

One person was found stabbed in a Wheaton apartment complex Monday afternoon, police said.

The man was rushed to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Wheaton Deputy Police Chief Bill Murphy said. His condition was not immediately known.

Police were called about 2 p.m. to the complex on the 1300 block of East Roosevelt Road.

Three men have been taken into custody in connection with the stabbing, Murphy said. No charges have been filed as of Monday afternoon.

“The area is safe for residents, and it was an isolated incident, and there are no suspects outstanding,” Murphy said.

Police remained at the complex shortly after 3 p.m. Murphy could not say whether the man lived in one of the apartments or where he was found at the complex.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is encouraged to call Lt. Bob Miller at (630) 260-2161.
