Mother of all garage sales in Schaumburg this weekend

For the 47th year, the Timbercrest-Woods subdivision in Schaumburg is throwing open its garage doors this weekend for a garage sale that draws thousands - and offers everything from antiques and household goods to motorcycles and RVs.

Roughly two in every 10 homes in this 600-home neighborhood participate in the garage sale every year, but because they aren't the same homes all the time there's always something new, organizers say.

The sale opened Friday, June 3 and continues 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Visit www.richardgerber.com/timbercrest-woods-garage-sale for a map and other details to help you get around efficiently. Free admission to the neighborhood.
