Bartlett-area scouts team with special needs baseball players

Bartlett-area Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Eagle Scouts and Venture Crew Scouts will buddy up with special needs baseball players June 4 for five games, to raise awareness for the Boy Scouts of America Special Needs in Scouting Program. Events begin at 4 p.m. at Kohler Field, 2255 Southwind Blvd. in Bartlett. About 120 baseball players from the Bartlett Little League Challengers Division for special needs kids are expected to play. An opening ceremony with a presentation of the flags by Boy Scout Troop 98 will precede the games, and an ice cream social will follow.
