Mount Prospect police investigating infant death

Mount Prospect police are continuing to investigate the death of a 14-day-old baby who was found not breathing early Saturday on the 1700 block of Chariot Court, according to a news release. Police say they don't suspect foul play.

Mount Prospect Fire Department personnel began CPR when they arrived on the scene around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The baby was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, where the infant was pronounced dead, according to police.

The Cook County Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death undetermined pending toxicology results.
