Waukegan museum supervisor appointed to advisory board

Waukegan History Museum Supervisor Ty Rohrer was recently appointed to the advisory board of the Illinois State Historical Society at the Society's annual meeting in Springfield. Rohrer received two bachelor's degrees from the University of Illinois, one in history and the other anthropology, and he obtained a master's degree in history from the University of Illinois Springfield in 2006. Prior to his arrival at the Waukegan Park District in October 2006, he worked at the Springfield Art Association and interned at the Illinois State Military Museum in Springfield.
